Property Overview
About This Property
This light and spacious three bedroom apartment is situated just outside of the town of Órgiva, but is within a short walk to the centre of town where there are all of the usual facilities – including banks, bars / cafes, shops and supermarkets.
Interior:
Set off the main road leading in to Órgiva, you arrive at the apartment via a side entrance which leads up the stairs to the entrance on the upper floor. Entering the apartment you come into the main L shaped hallway which is spacious and leads to the other rooms.
The first room to the right is a good sized kitchen with additional lighting provided via a skylight in the ceiling to the rear of the room. It houses the gas water heater and has a plumbed in washing machine and sink. This room is currently set up as a storage and utility room, but when fully utilised as a kitchen there is space enough for a dining area as well.
The first room on the left side of the hallway is bedroom number one, although currently, this has been set up as a dining room area. At the moment, this room is home to the cooker and fridge, along with storage shelves, a dining table and plenty of seating. When configured as a bedroom, this room is large enough for a double or twin beds as well space for wardrobes or shelving and has a good sized window providing plenty of light.
Heading further into the apartment the next room on the left is the large lounge with double doors that lead onto a little balcony with views up to the mountains behind. Like all of the main rooms, the lounge is very bright and airy and could easily convert into a guest bedroom with a sofa bed if needed. The lounge and the main bedrooms all have fans.
Opposite the lounge is the well equipped bathroom which has sink, toilet and shower with screen.
The main (second) bedroom is a good size and easily accommodates a double bed as well as wardrobes. It has a large window providing plenty of light and air in the summer months.
At the end of the hallway is the third bedroom which is similar and big enough for a double or twin beds as well. The window of this bedroom looks out in the same direction as the second bedroom and the sockets are well placed for a double or two twin beds if needed.
Any of the three bedrooms would also make an excellent office space for working from home.

Exterior:
The apartment block is well maintained and with the apartment being on the upper floor this provides the benefit of not having neighbours above. There is a restaurant in front of the apartment block and a short walk of a few hundred metres takes you to the main supermarkets (Consum and Día) and further into the town all of the other shops and amenities, including the ecological shop – La Parada, which sells fresh organic and natural foods.
The location is ideal for access to the coast which is less than 40 minutes away by car or further into the mountains and up to the white villages. And for those without a car, the main bus stop, which is a 3 to 5 minute walk away, provides easy and economical access to other local towns, the coast or Granada – where connecting buses or trains open up access to all parts of Spain.
Services:
Mains water, Mains Electricity and town drainage. The hot water and cooking are gas fueled. The apartment has facilities for internet and telephone services which can be connected to the property with the appropriate contracts. There is a service charge for the communal areas – roughly around 20€ per month.
